Welcome back to another Wednesday Workshop from DealerOn. We’ve been sharing weekly tip videos for a few years now, but they’re all short videos about single specific topics.
We talk to dealers all the time who want to learn more about the basics – how search engines actually work and how to do SEO at a granular level. This week, I’m here to give you the keys to the kingdom.
Back in March, I was lucky enough to fly over to St Petersburg Russia to film a series of video tutorials for SEMrush. For those of you who don’t know, SEMrush is a robust SEO toolset, and they’ve got a new “academy” division that’s dedicated to releasing free training modules. Check it out at this URL:
My SEO Fundamentals course is their first entry in what’s going to be a long line of video courses from top experts from around the world. There are 31 video lessons covering the basics of SEO, and after watching all the videos, you can take a test. If you pass, you’re officially certified in SEO fundamentals and you get a cool certificate to prove it.
So – if you’re in charge of marketing for your dealership or you’re just curious how everything works, this course is a must… If you’re using an SEO vendor, you’ll have a better understanding of what’s involved so you can truly hold them accountable for their work.
So go check it out – the entire course is free, you just have to register with your email address. Just head over to semrush.com/academy and start learning!
If you’re eager to learn more and get some advanced tips and recent updates, I’m doing a webinar for Digital Dealer next week – I’m going to be talking about building relevant links to your site and I’ll be spending a lot of time talking about Google Posts and Google Q&A.
Head over to bit.ly/ddw-advanced-seo to get registered.
That’s all the time we’ve got for this week. As always, if you’ve got questions or comments, leave ’em down below and we’ll get back with you shortly. Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you again next week for another Wednesday Workshop from DealerOn.
