Get to know Kelly Schnarrs, DealerOn Customer Success Manager II, in this one-on-one interview. She gave us the inside scoop on delivering a stellar customer experience, her passion for home projects, and an obsession with finding the perfect gift.

What team are you on and what is your role at DealerOn?
I’m on Team Leo, woot woot! My role is a CSM II.

How does your team & role contribute to the success of DealerOn?
Team Leo is such a collaborative and insightful team, and we all use our experience to help one another. I personally use my experience in the Automotive industry and in marketing and design to optimize websites and lead the customer down the funnel to generate opportunities.

What do you feel separates DealerOn from other players in the space?
DealerOn has high standards and expectations for the quality and efficiency of work provided as well as implementing the WOW factor to deliver the best customer experience.

How would you describe your approach to customer success?
The adage, “treat people the way you want to be treated” is what I live by. When reviewing a customer’s website, I look at it as though it were my own business by thinking outside of the box and use data and best practices for custom optimizations.

What do you enjoy most about working at DealerOn?
I love that we are super serious about what we do and being on the cutting edge of technology, but we also know how to have fun. Management is extremely generous when it comes to employee satisfaction.

If you could go back to your first day at DealerOn and tell yourself anything, what would it be?
This will turnout to be a great career decision.

What is a fun fact about you that people don’t know?
I was a contractor in a previous life! I love to do home projects. For example, I turned a pantry closet into a coffee bar by adding cabinets and a countertop. I also added upper cabinets to my kitchen to close that weird space in between the ceiling and the top of the original cabinets. I’ll never understand why they do that!

What motivates you?
A challenge 😊 Don’t tell me something can’t be done. I will find a way, haha.

What are you passionate about?
Learning how to constantly improve myself. I watch webinars/videos, read articles and take classes to find answers to all things. I also love to buy THE PERFECT GIFT and will obsess over it for sometimes weeks or months. Don’t even get me started on Christmas.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my family (my teenagers as much as possible, but it’s not easy to have a Mom cooler than they are).

If you could have a conversation with anyone from the past, who would it be and what would you discuss?
God – How am I doing?

Who do you find inspiration from today?
Anyone who has overcome struggles and shares their experience.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Teleporting. I Dream of Jeannie style.
