He began his professional career in the automotive industry with the Robert Bosch Corporation where he worked at a manufacturing plant in upstate South Carolina that produced EV coils, O2 sensors, and other car components.
Brian got his start in software development at Blackbaud, an industry-leading, social good, cloud software firm. There he was one of the founding members of the Shared Services Engineering team that developed the company’s first core FinTech and Communication platforms.
He then joined BoomTown, a leader in the real estate CRM and digital marketing industry. During his 10-year career there in Engineering leadership, Brian helped establish the company’s first core values, achieve three consecutive years in the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies List, and scale from 30 employees to over 350.
He is a proud Liverpool FC supporter and Clemson Tiger. He loves traveling internationally and has a personal goal to visit all seven continents (also currently on a 365+ day Duolingo streak)! He enjoys reading, watching obscure independent films, and searching for his next favorite progressive rock & metal bands.
Education: B.S. in Management & Information Systems from Clemson University.
